New Project Manager on the Fehmarn Project

I apologize for the blog being a bit quiet during the last month, but things have been rather hectic as the project is entering a new phase.

The 1st of June Wim Janssen (project manager from TEC in Holland) retired and Klavs Munch Koefoed (Rambøll) replaced him. Wim has been on the project from the beginning so everyone is sad to see him leave. However, Klavs is keen to take on his role and has several years experience in the tunnel industry.

Yesterday the entire project team went out to celebrate the achievements gained during the last few years. We started off in the beautiful settings of Frederiksberg Have and ended up in restaurant Josty enjoying a fantastic 3 course dinner.

The next post will be describing an immersed tube tunnel and will follow shortly.
